It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Margaret Simms of Saint Augustine, Florida, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ruth Knaggs (Milligan) and Frank Knaggs; her husband John Melvin Simms, Sr.; her children, Kimberly Faye Haney "Kim" of St Augustine, FL., John Melvin Simms Jr. of St Augustine, FL., Marcie Elaine Pennington (Barry) of St Augustine, FL., Stacey Wayne Simms (Deanna Louise) of St Augustine, FL., Shelia Renee McCormick of Stuart, FL, James Artie Simms "Jimmy" of Tallahassee, FL. and Sherry Seitz; and her siblings, Linda Lawrence and Fred Knaggs. She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Vistas Community Connection Hospice.
