She was predeceased by: her husband Cyril James Messenger; her great grandchild Matthew Nesmith of New Mexico; and also Patricia Bazar. She is survived by: her children, Steve Messenger, Dori Messenger, Jim Denino, Sue Denino and Mark Messenger; and her grandchildren, Regan Messenger, Jasmine Messenger, Sarah Messenger, Ricardo Bazar, Antonio Bazar and Vicky Bazar.
