He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenton Kurtz and Hettie Kurtz; and his sister Wanda Jeanne LiCalzi (Dannie). He is survived by: his children, John (Jen), Kim Tzatzaris (Mark) and Jay Pappas (Heidi); his grandchildren, Tyler, Riley, Zach and Addi; and his siblings, Kay Croucher (Barry) and Kalvin (Sheila).
Memorial donations may be made to the Firefighters Fund of Fairfax County to provide support to active and retired Fairfax County firefighters & paramedics and their families in times of special need.
