He is survived by: his wife Juliette (Judy); his children, Cherre Kidd (Lee), Melinda Nelson (Benny), Julie Dennis (Johnny) and David Swindull (Polly); his grandchildren, Amy Connor (Patrick), Ben Black, Ashley Hamblin (Jeff), David Nelson (Kaley), Melissa Swindull, Rebecca Emert (Shawn), Brittany Roberts (Josh), Victoria Romani (Zach), Riley Connor, Caleb Moore and Layla Doyle Cutter; his sister Sylvia Lawson (Mike); and his niece Kathy Jones (Brian).
