John A. Pfister Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2024 we had to say goodbye to John A. Pfister (Saint Augustine, Florida). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Daniel. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Eileen Luscombe, Patricia Schoeniger, Kathleen Dunn (James), Ann Hink (Vincent), Jane Swamer and Michael Pfister (Janet). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

John died peacefully on March 19, 2024 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease, with his son.

“just found this obituary for my good friend John Pfister when I went looking for him after a long while. We shared many discussions and met along with Kathy at numerous SETH conferences years ago. I have videos of those conferences with him in them. I am devastated to learn I was only 4 or 5 months from contacting him. We could have reminisced about a lot. He was indeed a great thinker. I will miss him very much, but I'll always remember our beautiful and long discussions .”
