He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Walker and Virginia Elizabeth Cannon; and his sister Amy Summerlin. He is survived by: his wife Karen Brock Cannon; his children, Dana Butler (John) of Apopka, FL, Beverly Cannon of Perry, FL, Dustin Cannon of Perry, FL, Matthew Carter (Ashliegh) of St. Augustine and Michael Carter (Christy) of St. Augustine; his brothers, Kenneth Cannon (Nancy) of Gallatin, TN and Terry Cannon (Kathy) of Orlando, FL; and his great grandchildren, Chase Howder, Paige King, Manden Whiddon, Lilly Anna Whitehurst, Colin Carter, Wyatt Rayfield, Daniel Carter, Morgan Carter, Gavin Carter, Caleb Carter, Rhett Cannon, Peyton Cannon, Luna and Riley King.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (8250 Co Rd 13, Hastings, FL 32145). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Jimmy Lee's honor to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
