She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivan Thigpen and Alene Thigpen (Capalia); and her sister Patricia "Pat" Weldon-Hendricks (Robert "Bob" Reeves). She is survived by: her nieces, Tammy Klipstine (Jimmy), Jennie Gay and Linda McMillan; and her nephew Larry "Bubba" Weldon. She is also survived by seven great-nieces and nephews.
