He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Bennett and Hattie Mae Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Jeffie Bennett; his children, Gene F. Bennett Jr. (Tamré) and Amy Olmstead (James); his brother Joe Bennett (Millie); and his grandchildren, Emily Bennett Geisel (Andrew), Aden Olmstead and Ormond Beach. He is also survived by his family and friends.
