He is survived by: his wife Maria Cruz Quinones; his sons, Anthony Emilio and John Edward Quinones; and his sister Nitza I. Quinones Alejandro (Sanjuanita Gonzalez). He is also survived by his family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Edgardo E. Quinones' memory either to the Disabled American Veterans or to the American Cancer Society.
