He is survived by: his wife Juanita Hunter (Thompson); his children, Melinda Hunter Callahan (Michael), George Hunter (Penny), John Samuel Hunter (Jocelyn) and Michael Hunter Sr. (Jenny); his grandchildren, Ashley Hunter, Bubba Hunter, Michael Hunter Jr., Kyle Hunter and Karalina Hunter; and his great grandchildren, Haydn Hunter and Greyson Hunter.
