It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benson Winton Burnette of Saint Augustine, Florida, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Benson Winton and Frances R. Burton; his wife Zana King Winton Burnette; and his former wife Ann Oberg Winton Burnette. He is survived by: his children, Herschel Benson Winton III (Denise), Lee Christopher Winton-Burnette (Kathy) and Judith Ashton Nagle (David); and his grandchildren, Megan, Jenna, Kelly, Evan, Emma, Christopher and Andrew. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
