It is with great sadness that we announce the death of April Higginbotham Carney of Saint Augustine, Florida, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helene Higginbotham and Bryan Higginbotham. She is survived by: her pet Ember; her husband Doug Carney; her child Tresa Shirrell (Ben); her grandchildren, Allee Shirrell, Cameron Shirrell and Kaylee Brown; and her siblings, Elijah (Liege), Cindy Higginbotham Snowberger and Kim Higginbotham Harper (James). She is also survived by 11 Nieces and Nephews, 18 Great Nieces and Nephews, 3 Great Great Nieces and Nephews.
