With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Parker Dixon Sr. in Safety Harbor, Florida, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 16, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William Parker leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dixon and Elizabeth Dixon (Mullins); and his sister Wanda Potter. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Dixon of Valrico; his children, Bill Dixon Jr. (Laurie Deese) of Sebring, Florida and Anna Dixon-Bird (Don) of Valrico, Florida; and his siblings, Michael Dixon of Louisville, Kentucky, Elaine Nizet (Pierre) of Clearwater, Florida and Rebecca "Becky" Marking (Steven) of Largo, Florida. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Florida Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his honor.
