He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Fredric McCoy and Vera Vasilivna McCoy; his wife Jeannette McCoy; and his daughter Heidi Thomas (David). He is survived by: his children, Fredric N. McCoy, Sandra Blythe and Sam McCoy; his son-in-law David Thomas; and his grandchildren, Janessa, Jennifer, David, Alisa and Joshua. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
In his lifetime, Fredric donated to 25 different charities as his way to give back.
