With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Chaney of Ruskin, Florida, born in McCutchenville, Ohio, who passed away on October 28, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Chaney and Catherine Chaney (Puchta); and his brother Robert Chaney. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Lynn Chaney (Shoemaker); his children, Richard "Rick" Chaney (Stephanie) of Terra Alta, Sandra Kern (Chuck) of Monroe, Sherry Spears of Findlay, Antonia "Toni" Serwin of Austin and Tamara Baker (Kevin) of Austin, Texas.; and his siblings, James Chaney of McCutchenville, Dennis Chaney of Tiffin, Tom Chaney of Tiffin, Gary Chaney of Tiffin, Sherry Laugherty of Tiffin and Debra Hicks of Tiffin. He is also survived by seven Grandchildren and one Great-Grandchild.
