He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa Gottfried and Harley Gottfried. He is survived by: his wife Judi (Jennifer); his daughter Jennifer; his sister Donna Gaffney (Tom); his siblings-in-law, Mike Bursack (Debbie), Linda Werner (Kim) and Denise Srebrow; his nieces and nephews, Cory Gaffney, Jared, Justin Bursack, Zack, Gale and Melissa Werner; and his great-nieces, Evelyn and Caitlin Gaffney.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa or the ASPCA in Largo.
