He was predeceased by: his parents, John Doherty and Helen Doherty; and his sisters, Kathleen Frunzi and Helen Doherty. He is survived by: his wife Norma "Tracy" Doherty; his stepson James Rugeley (Dawn); his siblings, Frances Doherty, James Doherty and Michael Doherty; his grandchildren, Taylor Rugeley and Nicole Bliss; and his great grandchild Riley Rugeley.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Apostles (100 Crestwood Blvd S, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Va Chapel (7305 N Military Trl, West Palm Beach, FL 33410).
