She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Whitt Gentry, Sr.; her siblings, Evie Long, Annie Robertson, Mary Clayton, Mamie Taylor, Ruby Gregory, William Robertson, Melvin Robertson, Ivey Robertson and Jimmie Robertson; and her great grandchild Chris P. Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Frank W. Gentry Jr. (Janet) of Roxboro, NC, Phil R. Gentry (Pamela) of Sebring, FL and Vicki L. Worley (Warren). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
