He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Cislo and Helen Cislo; and his stepmother Irene Cislo. He is survived by: his wife Gail Cislo (Kobzan); his children, Andrea Durkee (Tom), Michael Cislo (Renay) and Kristen Gavagan; his grandchildren, Lauren, Sarah, Hanna Cislo and Alyssa Durkee; and his siblings, Jerome Cislo (Carol), Daniel Cislo (Dorothy), Joseph Cislo (Shirley), Mary Ann Harkins (Ed), Hattie Loftis and Theresa Kotzian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
