He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scherer and Irene Bruce Scherer; and his wife Mary Lou Scherer. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle (Thomas Cimino) of Rotonda West, Florida; his siblings, Donna Furnival of Florida and David Scherer of Millville; and his aunt Renee Garrison of Dunellen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
