Doherty (Rotonda West, Florida), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 4, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Doherty and Marjorie McGaffigan Doherty; and his sister Mary Francis. He is survived by: his friend Bill W.; his wife Bernice; his stepson Kevin Wagner (Carol); his brothers, William Doherty (Joanna), Vincent Doherty (Josette) and Kevin Doherty (Donna); his grandchildren, Shana and Daniel Wagner; his great grandchild Kaylee; and his sister-in-law Eunice Harvey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sun Coast Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of George Doherty.
