She is survived by: her former husband John Ames; her sons, John Ames of New York and Keith Ames (Jane) of Massachusetts; her grandson Robert of New York; her stepdaughter Lisa Carvalho of New York; her former husband Vincent Carvalho; and also, Michael of Florida and Niko of Massachusetts.
