She was predeceased by: her sisters, Pamela Clarice DeYoung and Nola Lynn Lingle. She is survived by: her siblings, Tania Lee Gentry (Tom) and Stanton Vanderhoef Parsons (Julie); her niece Crystal; her brothers, Gary Mark Parsons (Michelle) and Neil Emmett Parsons (Tara); her nephew Ian; her half-brother Robert Stanton Parsons; her husband Greg; her son Derrick Stanton Hughey; her granddaughters, Victoria and Mackenzie; her son Alexander Michael Hughey (Jillian); her granddaughter Alice Anne Hughey; and her son Stephen Gregory Hughey.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Francis Reflections: Life Stage Care who graciously and empathetically took care of Vanessa in her last moments.
