He was predeceased by: his father Charles Bates. He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his children, Craig (Amanda) of Titusville, FL and Tiffani Rivenburg (Tom) of Ocean, NJ; his grandsons, Aidan, Tommy, Jaxson and Nicky; his brothers, Chuck (Michelle) of Adrian, MI and Tim (Toni) of Valpariso, IN; his friend Steve "Hobbit" Haggard; and also Arlene Force (Chet). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.
