He is survived by: his wife Carolyn (Miller); his children, Carmen Shepherd (Tim), Kirt Schmelzer (Christy) and Craig Schmelzer; his grandchildren, Tory, Trevor, Karissa, Paisley, Zachary, Savannah, Dawson and Theresa; and his great grandchildren, Elliana, Mackenzie, Kinsley and Brynlee.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Brevard Animal Shelter or American Parkinson's Disease Association.
