She was predeceased by: her parents, Waverline Burnell and Floyd Burnell; her brother Paul Burnell; her son Michael Welling; and her nephews, Jeff and Tim Burnell.
She is survived by: her husband Terry Melloy; her siblings, Naomi Burkhammer and Jim Burnell, Sr.; and her children, Debra Dobbs (Terry) of West Melbourne, Kathy Steele (Mike) of Melbourne and Mark Welling of West Virginia. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren as well as six nieces and nephews.
