She is survived by: her son Peter (Rocio); her grandsons, Christopher, Alex and Andrew Ludewig; and her daughter Monika (Joseph Bradley).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Renate's name may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church, or to St. Joseph-St. Thomas Catholic Church.
