He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Shetter and Arlie Bird Shetter; his daughter Abbie Shetter; and his siblings, Marjorie Hardy, Ann Swafford, Jimmy, Fred and David Shetter.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann "Pat" Walker; his children, Suzy Docker (John) of Port Orange, FL, L. J. Pearce (Bobby) of South Bay, FL, Paula Wilson (Nate) of Manhattan, KS, Katie Shetter Flanery (Tim), Patsy George (Nathan) of Charlotte, NC, Lisa Brendemuehl (Bill) of Charlotte, NC, Korie Camerana of Charleston, SC, Gia Shetter, Paul Shetter, Jr. (Vicki) of Dallas, GA and Kevin Shetter (Agnes) of West Melbourne, FL; and his siblings, Judy Stevens of Dayton, TN, Sue Pruitt of Falling Water, TN, Dee Janow of Falling Water, TN and Danny Shetter of Grandview, TN. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rome-Floyd Community Soup Kitchen or to Haven Health Clinic (Crisis Pregnancy Center).
