He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Ramon Hernandez and Asunción Arroyo; and his brothers, David, Japhet and Gedeón.
He is survived by: his wife Rinna Echeverria Cooper; his children, Ileana Hernández, Kattia Swanson and Christopher Swanson; his grandchildren, Liza Dickson, Edward Dickson, Jesse Dickson, Anita Jones, Anthony Jones and Holden Swanson; and his great grandchildren, Antonyo Jones, Aniya Jones and Ariya Jones. He is also survived by sisters and many nieces and nephews.
