He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Thompson and John P. Ferrell II; and his brother Thomas James (Doris M. Ferrell). He is survived by: his daughters, Ruth Green and Deborah Albrecht; his sister Jeanne Jablonski; his grandchildren, Dana Scott, David Green, Melissa McWhite and Jamie McNeil; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Lauren, Jordan, Madison and Sophia.
