He is survived by: his wife Sherri Mullis; his daughter Dejah (Steven Hess); his grandchildren, Alexandria Hess and Christian Hess (Sarah); his great grandchild Gwyndolyn; and also, Bill, Betty Mullis, Terri and Steve. He is also survived by spouses, and many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
