He is survived by: his daughter Cara A. Giesen (Elko); his wife Barbara A. Elko (Booher); his siblings, John Elko (Betty), Donald Elko (Karen), Bernice Knipling and Rose Elko; his sister-in-law Maria Elko (Nick); his grandchildren, Megan L. Shahlamian (Bryan) and Chad A. Giesen; and his great grandchildren, Addison and Brynlee Shahlamian. He is also survived by 20 nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
