We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2021, at the age of 88, Dixie R. Sommers (Rockledge, Florida), born in Moville, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James W. Sommers (Jim); her siblings, Sally Haynie and Raymond Luckel; her children, Michelle Knight, Kathryn Sigurbjartsson, Eric Weinrich, Nancy Bonsal, Stacey Casuccio, Andrea Reinders and Brad Johnson; her stepchildren, JJ Sommers, Heidi Jo Sommers, Jill Wilcox and Brad Sommers; her parents, Roy Luckel and Mollie Luckel; and her former husband Richard P. Weinrich (Dick). She was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make donations in Dixie's name to the Trinity Lutheran Church School Scholarship Fund at above address.
