He was predeceased by: his wife Lea Wiggins; and his parents, Benjamin Wiggins and Caroline Wiggins. He is survived by: his daughter Sara Rubino; his siblings, Bettie Wiggins-King (Mac) and William Wiggins (Cheri); his nephew Benjamin Wiggins; and his pet Bruce.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to charities that benefit members of the military, such as Vietnam and All Veterans of Brevard or Heroes on the Water.
