It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Claudie Oxendine of Rockledge, Florida, born in Rowland, North Carolina, who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Lee and Cordie Locklear Oxendine; his sons, Douglas Oxendine and Stanley Oxendine; and his siblings, Lacy Lee Oxendine, Jr., D. W. Oxendine, Levi Oxendine, Roscoe Oxendine, Fletcher Oxendine, Bertha Jacobs, Corde Locklear, Lucy Emanuel and Pachan Locklear.
He is survived by: his wife Gretchen of Rockledge; his daughter Kay Astrowsky (Jeffrey) of Orlando; his grandchildren, Lauren Oxendine, Dalton Oxendine of Oviedo, Joshua Astrowsky and Madison Astrowsky of Orlando; his daughter-in-law Nancy Oxendine of Oviedo; and his siblings, Edward Oxendine (Alice) of Lumberton, NC, Charles Oxendine (Faye) of Rowland, NC, Christine Locklear of Pembroke, NC, Mary Frances Oxendine of Maxton, NC and Mary Alice Jacobs (Dale) of High Point, NC. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, relatives, friends.
