She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Starnes and Ruth Starnes. She is survived by: her siblings, Anne and Barry; her children, Kathryn, Karen and Benjamin; her grandchildren, Jeffery, Sarah and William; and her great grandchildren, Siena and Charlotte.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriners Hospital for Children in Greenville, SC.
