He was predeceased by: his son Brett Allen Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Caldwell Carpenter; his daughter Jennifer Carpenter Holloway (John); his daughter-in-law Angela Kay Carpenter; his grandchildren, Carolyn Anne, Jessica Lynn, Hunter Allen and Ashley Elizabeth; and also, Hailey Isabella, Lily Faye, Robert Allen and Abigail Jean.
