The memory of Mary Laverne Herndon of Riverview, Florida, who passed away on December 9, 2024 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Purvis and Bessie Purvis; her husband Leon Herndon; and her siblings, James Hilburn Purvis and Ruby M. Swails.
She is survived by: her children, Ed Herndon (Vicki) and Beverly Clark; and her grandchildren, Marcus Herndon, Doug Clark, Eric Herndon, Amanda Aycock and Lauren Herndon.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Clair Mel Assembly of God Church (2415 S 78th St, Tampa, FL 33619).
