Sampson Jr. (Riverview, Florida), born in Mango, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2025 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Sr. Sampson and Annie Vida Sampson; and his siblings, Bryan, Ralph and Louise.

He is survived by: his children, David Sampson, Julie, Neal Poe, Ray and Beth Kelp; and his grandchildren, Josie and Branden. He is also survived by his best friend, love of his life and wife of 72 years.

Services will be at a later date and remembrances may be made to The Gideons Foundation in his name.
