He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernhard Dorfner and Kathleen Dorfner. He is survived by: his wife Lilianna M. Preis; his son Kenneth Dorfner; his sisters, Dawn Rossi and Brittany Moeller (Nick); and his aunts and uncles, Karl Dorfner (Pat), Robert Dorfner (Kathy), Sue Daniels (Dan), Anne Parker and Karen Reynolds.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nativity Catholic Church (705 E Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Nativity Catholic Church.
