She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Diers and Catherine "Kitty" Diers; her brother Richard Diers; her aunt Francis; and her uncle Irving Solberg.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Robert W Thatcher; her aunt Pearl Ray; her brothers, Michael and James Diers; her sisters-in-law, Mary Young Diers and Sandy Diers; her daughters, Jennifer Schultz, Rachel Sanders and Michelle Thatcher; her sons-in-law, Tyler Schultz and David Sanders Jr.; and her granddaughters, Brianna Sanders, Abigail and Brinley Schultz.
