It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory James Godec of Redington Beach, Florida, who passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Greenlee Godec; his son Tyler Godec of Tampa, FL; his stepdaughters, Samantha Spedale of Tampa, FL and Emily Spedale of Tampa, FL; his parents, Jim Godec and Sharon Godec of Paducah; his siblings, Suzy Gilland (Andy) of Paducah and Danny Godec (Joy) of Cincinnati, OH; and his nieces and nephews, Hannah Wright (Alex) of Paducah, Allison Godec of Cincinnati, Matthew Gilland (Rachel) of Paducah and Caleb Godec of Cincinnati. He is also survived by Two great nieces and two great nephews.
