With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Hand Hooks of Redington Beach, Florida, born in Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on June 15, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ressie Hand and Ella Thompson Hand; her husband William H. Hooks; and her siblings, Eural Hand, Ed Hand, Travis Hand, Burl Hand, Junior Hand, James Hand, Earl Hand and Mary Cox.
She is survived by: her children, William Jerry Hooks (Maureen) and Brenda Melissa Salvatore (Carl); her grandchildren, Margie Hooks (Chris Fontaine), Kim Windisch (Shawn), Sharie Parsons (Paul) and BobbieJo Head (Nate); her great grandchildren, Ella Windisch, Ethan Windisch, Peyton Parsons, Nathan Head and Kayde Head; and her brother Lamar "Sonny" Hand. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
