He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Gordon; his sons, Joseph Gordon Jr. (Thelronda) and Michael Jacobs (Veronica); his stepdaughters, Valeria, Velma, LaShawn, Princess, Kimberly and Shamira; and his siblings, Ella Gordon, Juanita Williams, Annie Sweet, Surwena Myers (Tommy), Katrina Lamar (Alphonso), Luctricia Dove, David Gordon, Sr. (Marilyn) and George Simmons (Charlene). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
