It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jean Chavers of Reddick, Florida, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on June 5, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Crawford and Oveda Fincher Crawford; her siblings, Frank Crawford, Dorothy Tanner, Patricia Whitley and Lowana Cook; and her children, Elizabeth Elaine and William "Buckshot".
She is survived by: her siblings, Toni Crawford, Mary Fenstermaker and Mike Crawford; and her children, Crystal Blake, John Thompson (Kim), Gail Beam (Bobbie), Randy Thompson (Debbie), Lloyd Thompson (Gene), Wayne Thompson (Janice) and Donnie Thompson. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, several great grandchildren as well as great great grandchildren.
Although Betty suffered from Alzheimer's, she never once wavered in her faith.
