It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Carl Rogers Jr. of Reddick, Florida, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Benjamin may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doctor Carl Rogers and May Louise Williams Rogers; and his brother David Michael Rogers. He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Marie Rogers Brazil (David) and Patricia LeAnne Rogers Sanders (Jon); his grandchildren, Josiah Kahlil Gonsalves (Julie), Tyler Austin Sanders and Halayna Isobel Sanders; his siblings, Doctor Gaylon Rogers (Donna) and Sharon Rogers Womble; and his former wife Mary Lee Wolfe Lacey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
