He was predeceased by: his son Michael Ray Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Brooks; and his children, Aimee Brooks of Tallahassee, Liana Ryan of Tallahassee and Debbie Howard of Russellville, KY. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
