He was predeceased by: his parents, Horst Schwarzer and Hilde Schwarzer. He is survived by: his wife Judi (Gutzler); his former wife Patricia; his children, Rudi Rennert, Jr. (Ilona) of Carlsbad, CA and Julie Ann Egan (Jason) of Norfolk, MA; his stepson Thomas Gutzler (Olga) of Boca Raton, FL.; his grandchildren, Quinn, Shea, Emery, Isabella, Luna, Angelina and Elijah; and his half-siblings, Andrew, Detlef, Friedholm and Angelika.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel (2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33948). The inurnment was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
