He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent J. Wackell and Catherine Wackell (Connole); his wife Jane L Wackell (Ryan) of Webster, MA; and his siblings, Richard F. Wackell, Barbara Wackell and Gayle Mardirossian.

He is survived by: his children, David Wackell (Sumiyo Toribe), James Wackell (Erin Garwood) and Pamela Wackell (Scot Donohue); and his grandchildren, Tacent, Yula, Koda (David Wackell), Kathryn (James Wackell), Daniel and Quinn (Scot Donohue). He is also survived by family members and friends.

Although we never met face-to-face, we shared many a laugh by phone. He was always positive ... looking forward, but his health issues were frustrating for him. He truly enjoyed outings with his family ... but he missed driving his truck!! RIP Donna & Allen Needy”
