He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Jean Warner; his parents, Russell Warner and Evelyn Warner; his siblings, Francis Ward and Russell Warner Jr.; and his stepdaughter Christine Clegg.
He is survived by: his son Robert R. Warner Jr.; his grandchildren, Dillon Warner (Brittany), Robert F Warner, Brittany Ellison, Ashlee Warner and Addison Warner; his great grandchildren, Keagan Warner, Kolten Warner and Kinley Warner; his daughter-in-law Melissa Ellison (Brian); and his stepchildren, Andrea Hewitt (Patrick), Guy Clegg, Stephen Clegg, Matthew Clegg (Christiana) and Micheal Clegg (Elizabeth). He is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
